Diagnostic Society
Share |

The intention of the Diagnostic Society, currently a special interest project under the umbrella of the Provost's Office of St. George's University, is to provide students with an opportunity to interact with alumni physicians in a simulated clinical diagnostic experience via teleconference.

The Group, which works in conjunction with the Alumni Relations Office of SGU, was founded by current President Soor Kothari, a term 5 SOM student. Student members meet regularly to discuss a real medical case, provided by an overseeing physician. Simulating a true clinical experience, students develop a differential diagnosis, prioritize the case based on the established diagnosis and prognosis.

Dr. Jacqueline Stanley has agreed to serve as the Faculty advisor for the Diagnostic Society. For more information on applying as a student or a clinician, please contact the Society here.
